Vipassana Intensive Retreat @ Fara Sabina August 21 2015 (up to 15 days)
An intensive vipassana retreat at the Clarisse Monastero at Fara (in) Sabina, Italy, will be held from Friday August 21, 2015, for the first 8, last 7, or all 15 days. Note that e.g. 8 days gives 7 full days; therefore one is able to practise up to 14 full days.
Directed by Henk Barendregt assisted by Antonino Raffone. Language: English and Italian. Experience required (e.g. introduction course). Course of 15 days (or the first 8 or the last 7 days). Prices: 350E for 7 days, 400 for 8 days, 650E for 15 days (full pension; single room with private bath). Payment instructions. Travel to be organized by the participant. Reachable from Roma (and its two airports; from Fiumicino it is more easy) by public transport.
Meditation style: Mahasi Sayadaw: walking meditation and sitting meditation focussing on raising and falling of the abdomen, towards the increase of wholesome mind-states and the decrease and eventual eradication of unwholesome ones (sessions of 45min follow each other).
